Every SEMS product is designed and validated by our in-house engineering team in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Our patent-pending closed-form tubular design represents a fundamental rethinking of how solar racking should be constructed — moving beyond the open-channel legacy systems that dominate the industry today.

Design Philosophy

Our engineering approach is built on three pillars:

• Survivability first — every design decision prioritizes the ability of the array to survive and continue generating power after severe weather events
• Lifecycle cost optimization — reducing total cost of ownership over 50+ years, not just upfront CapEx
• Manufacturing efficiency — designs that can be produced at scale with consistent quality using American manufacturing

Testing & Validation

All SEMS products undergo rigorous structural testing and validation including wind tunnel testing, finite element analysis (FEA), cyclic fatigue testing, and accelerated corrosion testing. Our designs are validated against ASCE 7-22 wind and snow load requirements, UL 2703 bonding and grounding standards, and IBC/IRC building code compliance.
